I believe that documenting and being inspired by my histories is an act of revolution. I'm a multi-media creative storyteller & writer born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and currently based in Boulder, CO
My stories highlight the lives of those I love and those I have learned from. I have heard the most riveting tales of love, passion, community, family, and spirit around dining room tables in towns forgotten by the rest of the world.
I tell these stories because they taught me how to be a person navigating a complex and often challenging world. I hope to decorate this space with many mirrors, so whoever encounters it finds beauty in our shared experiences.

Every opportunity I get to be in community with others who share my devotion for this practice is healing and highly necessary. I have made it a priority to be involved with several writing collectives in the cities I've moved through.
I have been a facilitator for Grubstreet's Muse & the Marketplace Conference, a fellow for the Writer's Room of Boston, and a part of the selection committee for Subito Press's Innovative Writing Contest.
Currently, I work as Fiction Co-Editor for CU's litmag, Timber and I am an intern with Black Lawrence Press's Immigrant Writing Series and Fellowship.
